Privacy and Cookies

1. Data controller

Processing is carried out by FC Holding, Masdar City, Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), and by FC Holding, Shams, Sharjah Media City Free Zone, Sharjah (United Arab Emirates), acting as joint controllers for data collected through this website.

2. Applicable law

This website also addresses users located in the European Union. Processing therefore complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), which applies to controllers established outside the Union when they offer services to people located within it, as well as with the data protection law of the United Arab Emirates (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021).

3. Data collected

The site only collects the data you voluntarily enter in the contact form: name, email address, company, division of interest and message. If you write to us directly by email, we process the data contained in your message. We do not collect special categories of data and we do not carry out profiling.

As with any website, the server records technical connection data (IP address, browser type, page requested, date and time) for security and service operation purposes.

4. Purposes and legal basis

Form data is processed to answer your request and for related follow-up: the legal basis is the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at your request (Art. 6.1.b GDPR). Technical connection data is processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in the security and continuity of the service (Art. 6.1.f GDPR). We do not send marketing communications without separate consent.

5. Retention

Enquiries received through the form and the related exchanges are kept for a maximum of 24 months from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship has begun in the meantime: in that case the retention periods required by applicable accounting and tax obligations apply. After that period, data is deleted or anonymised.

6. Providers and transfers

The site is hosted on Netlify, which processes the technical data required to serve the pages and receives the messages sent through the form. Email is managed through Google Workspace. Both providers are US companies: transfers take place on the basis of the safeguards set out in Chapter V of the GDPR. Typefaces and every other page element are served directly from our own domain: no content is requested from third parties while you browse.

7. Cookies

This site uses no profiling cookies and neither sells nor shares data with third parties for advertising. We use two categories only:

Technical cookies, needed for the site to work and to store the choice you make on the banner. They require no consent and cannot be switched off.

Statistics cookies, which tell us which pages get read and which countries visits come from, in aggregate form and with the IP address anonymised. They are set by Google Analytics and are activated only if you choose «Accept» on the banner. If you choose «Decline», no measurement script is loaded.

You can change your mind at any time: review your cookie choice. You can also delete or block cookies from your browser settings.

8. Your rights

You can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability of your data at any time, or object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to info@fc-holding.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority: in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
